Senior Legal Manager

Job Title:

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management:

  Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership MOUs.

• Compliance Oversight:

  Ensure adherence to corporate, labor, IT, consumer, and industry-specific regulations.

• Advisory Role:

  Provide legal guidance to leadership on risks, opportunities, and compliance strategies.

• Litigation & Dispute Resolution:

  Manage legal notices, disputes, and coordinate with external counsel.

• Regulatory & Licensing:

  Oversee licensing requirements, statutory filings, and approvals across states and service categories.

• Corporate Governance:

  Maintain company records, board meeting documentation, and statutory registers.

• Legal Risk Monitoring:

  Track regulatory updates and assess their impact on business operations.

Requirements

• Education:

  LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.

• Experience:

  7 - 10 years in legal & compliance, preferably with

  startup or service/tech company exposure

  .

• Expertise:

  Strong knowledge of Indian corporate law, contract law, and sectoral regulations.

• Skills:

• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
  
• Ability to handle multiple jurisdictions and licensing requirements.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
  

• Mindset:

  Self-driven, proactive, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
