Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Handle and manage litigation relating to civil (property-related), revenue, consumer, and criminal matters across all forums, including original courts, appellate courts, revenue and quasi-judicial authorities, the High Court, and the Supreme Court of India.
Possess a strong grasp and practical working knowledge of contract law, registration laws, revenue laws, the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), consumer protection laws, the Companies Act, and other relevant statutes.
Independently draft, vet, and finalize all kinds of pleadings and legal documents, including plaints, written statements, petitions, applications, affidavits, appeals, revisions, and related filings.
Brief, coordinate with, and assist arguing counsels, and where required, appear and argue matters independently before various courts and statutory authorities.
Effectively manage and supervise a team of advocates, mentor junior advocates and stenographers, and ensure smooth functioning of the litigation team.
