Senior Legal Manager

As an experienced legal professional, you will be responsible for handling litigations before high court, lower court, Tribunals (Industrials Tribunals, OERC Statutory), and Consumer Forums. You will have the opportunity to coordinate and brief Counsels effectively. Your role will also involve providing research-oriented services on various legal issues, offering consultation, and providing legal opinions to the company on internal legal queries. Additionally, your drafting skills will be put to use as you will be drafting basic legal documents. Key Responsibilities: - Liaise with lawyers and ensure timely review and follow-up on legal matters. - Manage and coordinate external counsel on litigation, disputes, and specialized legal matters. - Lead legal due diligence and provide support for M&A or other strategic transactions. - Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including commercial agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements. - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including corporate governance and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required: - Experience in handling litigations before various courts and tribunals. - Strong coordination and briefing skills. - Proficiency in drafting legal documents. - Ability to liaise effectively with lawyers. - Experience in legal due diligence and contract drafting. - Knowledge of compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
