Role: Senior Legal Counsel Exp: 8 - 10+ Years Location: Chennai. Requirement 1 - Leadership of Legal & Compliance Function: Responsible for leading a focused, commercially aligned Legal & Compliance function across K2 Group’s APAC operations, ensuring risk mitigation, adherence to legal frameworks, and strategic guidance. 2 - Company Secretarial Responsibilities: Acts as Company Secretary, overseeing statutory compliance, maintaining company records, advising directors, and fulfilling all governance obligations under local laws. 3 - Expertise in Employment Law and Commercial Contracts: Requires strong employment law experience in APAC jurisdictions and advanced skills in negotiating, reviewing, and maintaining robust commercial contracts aligned with global standards. 4 - Strategic Legal Partnering: Collaborates with regional leadership, executive board, and finance teams on commercial negotiations, litigation management, and legal risk oversight to support business objectives. 5 - Team Supervision and Professional Development: Oversees Legal, Compliance, and Contracts Management teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement while effectively managing resources and external legal advisors.
