Job Title: Senior HR Executive – Core HR OperationsDepartment: Corporate HR

Location: Chennai (Ambattur)

Department: Core HR Operations

Work Mode: Day Shift (11 AM – 8 PM)

Job Summary

The Senior HR Executive – Core HR Operations will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end HR operational activities through Zoho People. This role ensures accurate employee lifecycle management from onboarding to exit, statutory compliance support, timely payroll inputs, employee data accuracy, and coordination of POSH-related processes. The role demands strong attention to detail, employee service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Zoho People Administration (End-to-End)

  • Manage the complete HR operations workflow within Zoho People.
  • Ensure accurate data updates and system configurations.

2. Employee Onboarding to Offboarding

  • Handle the full onboarding process via Zoho People including documentation, induction, and profile setup.
  • Manage offboarding formalities, clearance workflows, and exit documentation.

3. Attendance & Leave Management

  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and regularize exceptions.
  • Ensure timely updates and resolve discrepancies.

4. Employee Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in Zoho People.
  • Ensure high data integrity for audits and internal reporting.

5. ESI Registrations

  • Create ESIC profiles for new joiners and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.

6. Exit Employee Background Checks

  • Perform background checks for separated employees when required.
  • Share relevant information internally and externally in a timely manner.

7. First-Level Employee Query Handling

  • Address employee queries related to PF, ESI, and general HR policies.
  • Provide accurate guidance or escalate when necessary.

8. Payroll Input Coordination

  • Prepare and share monthly salary inputs with the payroll team.
  • Ensure accuracy in attendance, LOP, new joiners, exits, and variable components.

9. POSH Compliance & Coordination

  • Update POSH details on relevant government portals.
  • Coordinate POSH awareness training, committee meetings, and maintain MoM and related documentation.

10. Probation & KRA Follow-Up

  • Trigger KRA notifications for managers.
  • Follow up to ensure timely completion of probation evaluations and confirmations.

11. Policy & Compliance Support

  • Provide first-level clarification on HR policies, statutory requirements, and company guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA in HR preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to handle employee queries professionally.
  • Time management and coordination skills.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of PF, ESI, payroll inputs, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in HRMS (Zoho People preferred).
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
