This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Min Experience: 4 yearsLocation: Chennai, IndiaJobType: full-timeWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. This role requires expertise across both front-end and back-end technologies, cloud infrastructure, and database management. A key responsibility will be leading the development and customization of Shopify-based e-commerce solutions, including theme development and custom app integrations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using React, Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Build and manage APIs with REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets for seamless integrations.
Work with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, optimizing schemas and queries.
Implement caching solutions (Redis) to improve application performance.

Cloud & DevOps

Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, testing, and deployment.
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring optimal system performance.

E-commerce & Shopify

Lead Shopify platform development and customization.
Write high-quality Liquid code for themes and modifications.
Build and integrate custom Shopify apps to extend platform functionality.
Customize storefronts and checkout experiences to meet business requirements.

Authentication & Security

Implement secure authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth).
Ensure applications and APIs adhere to security best practices.

Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features.
Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain strong coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Strong expertise in React and/or Angular for front-end development.
Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for back-end development.
Extensive experience with REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis cache.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in secure application development, including OAuth.
Proven Shopify development experience (Liquid customization, custom apps).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Portfolio of relevant projects demonstrating strong technical expertise.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of headless commerce architectures.
