You’ll partner with Product on what/why and with Engineering on how , but you keep the project plan, dependencies, and releases on track. What You’ll Do Plan & schedule: Build and maintain a milestone plan, update weekly forecasts, manage critical path and buffers. Run the cadence: Backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews/demos, retros (or partner with a Scrum Master where applicable). Ticket readiness: Enforce Definition of Ready/Done; ensure stories have acceptance criteria, estimates, and dependencies; add spikes to retire unknowns. Dependencies & risk: Maintain a living RAID (Risks/Assumptions/Issues/Dependencies) with owners/dates; escalate early. Release management: Coordinate backend → web → mobile releases; handle flags/canary, schema migrations, smoke tests, rollback plans, and store submissions. Stakeholder comms: Post succinct status (RYG), EOD/weekly updates, and decision logs; keep leadership and vendors aligned. Delivery metrics: Track throughput, carryover %, cycle time, and defect escape rate; improve predictability over time. You’ll succeed here if you have 3+ years delivering software projects in SaaS or product engineering environments. Experience shipping web + mobile together and coordinating vendor/API integrations. Comfort reading architecture at a high level (APIs, data models, migrations, CI/CD) and using that to shape sequencing. Mastery of a modern toolchain (Jira/Linear, Confluence/Notion, GitHub, Slack) and Agile/iterative practices. Excellent communication—briefs, risk calls, and status that drive decisions.
