Job Description

As our Senior Food Technologist , you9ll play a pivotal role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining products that meet both creative and compliance standards. You9ll be the bridge between R&D, production, and quality, ensuring every sweet we make is as delightful as it is safe.

This role is based at our Byculla facility in Mumbai and reports to the R&D Head 3 Bombay Sweet Shop . It9s ideal for someone who loves being hands-on in the kitchen as much as in documentation, compliance, and innovation.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Research & Development

Support new product development through benchmarking, stability testing, and ship trials across retail and seasonal projects.

Conduct sensory evaluations, nutritional analysis, and shelf-life studies to ensure product quality and consistency.

Collaborate with operations, marketing, and production teams to establish product specifications aligned with food safety standards.

Apply advanced food processing techniques to improve product efficiency and quality.

Stay up to date with emerging food technology trends and integrate innovative solutions into development processes.

Coordinate with suppliers, development partners, and flavour houses for new ingredients, packaging, and process optimization.

Troubleshoot production and packaging issues and support continuous improvement.

Conduct raw material and ready-to-serve (RTS) product market research for innovation opportunities.
