SENIOR MANAGER - FINANCE (Preferences: Experience in Manufacturing Industry)
MANAGER FINANCE will ensure effective strategic and operational financial planning, monitoring and reporting to enhance the decision making process of the company.
The person appointed will ensure the Organisation complies with all statutory and external requirements and regulations. The FInance Manager will be the key player in creating and maintaining healthy financial systems.
Key responsibilities:
* Financial Accounting and Reporting
* Financial systems, procedures & internal controls
* Company secretariat matters
* Legal compliance / Corporate Governance / Statutory Compliances
* Contribute to the strategic planning, financial management and day-today running of the organisation
Main duties:
* Ensure accurate, complete & timely financial and management reporting, including monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations
* Undertake ad hoc financial analysis from time to time, to assist organisation in evaluating income streams, and potential for cost efficiencies
* Annual Accounts & Audit liaison
* Timely submission of all external reporting e.g. Companies Office, Funding Bodies
* Board reporting – providing finance and other reports as required for Board meetings
* Manage budget processes
* Continuous review all finance policies & internal control procedures
* Operation of payroll, pension / Production of payroll returns
* Responsibility for all tax affairs
* Company Secretarial Matters
* Arrange authorisation of electronic and manual payments, liaison with banks
* Responsible for all insurance
* Contribute to the overall leadership, strategic planning and management / To undertake other duties as required by the MD / Director from time to time /To work flexibly with senior management / To maintain confidentiality over personal information relating to staff and clients
Essential Qualities
Minimum 10 to 12 years experience of managing /finance systems
Excellent IT skills
Proven ability to produce budget plans and reports
Experience in staff supervision
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Professional qualification in relevant area
