Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our Kottayam branch. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain statutory compliance, and support strategic decision-making through effective financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial activities, including general ledger updates, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare and review essential financial reports such as Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of monthly financial forecasts.
• Handle statutory compliance requirements, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax filings.
• Monitor daily cash flow and implement efficient cash management practices.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions; collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee ERP/accounting system operations to ensure accurate reporting and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and successful audit completion.
• Develop and maintain strong internal control systems to protect company assets and mitigate risks.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a branch or multi-location setup.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
