About the Role

QC/QA professional (5–7 years)

design QC workflows, ensure audit readiness, and prepare bilingual (Hindi & English) regulatory reports

Key Responsibilities

Analytical Operations & Method Validation

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain

  HPLC, GC, and associated instruments

  .
• Develop, validate, and document analytical methods for ethanol, DDGS, and by-products.
• Ensure ≥ 98% accuracy and reproducibility in all results.
• Troubleshoot instruments and ensure ≥ 95% uptime.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

• Ensure

  GLP, ISO, and QMS standards

  are followed.
• Prepare & submit bilingual reports to Excise, PCB, BIS, and FSSAI.
• Lead internal & external audits (regulatory + client).

Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise a team of QC technicians.
• Conduct at least

  2 training sessions/quarter

  on SOPs, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain discipline and 95%+ adherence to SOPs.

Operational Support & Process Improvement

• Collaborate with production teams for yield improvement and waste reduction.
• Provide data-driven insights for process optimization.
• Drive at least

  2 process improvement initiatives annually

Candidate Profile

Education:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Industrial Chemistry
• OR
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering

Experience:

• 5–7 years

  in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Fermentation-based industries.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with

  HPLC & GC in regulated environments

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  bioethanol production, fermentation quality control, and DDGS standards

  .
• Prior experience with

  method validation, audit preparation, SOP development, and compliance reporting

  .

Skills:

• Proficiency in

  Waters Empower, Agilent OpenLab, Shimadzu LabSolutions

  (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of complementary instruments: UV-Vis, KF, FTIR, refractometer, dissolution apparatus, etc.
• Strong communication (Hindi & English mandatory).
• Leadership ability to manage teams and align with plant operations.

• ≥ 98% accuracy in HPLC/GC test results
• ≥ 95% instrument uptime
• 100% timely regulatory report submission (bilingual)
• Zero regulatory deviations
• At least 2 process improvements/year
