Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Procurement (Pre-Sales) with at least 1 year of experience in handling procurement activities for pre-bid and proposal stages in solar EPC projects. The role involves supporting the business development team by providing accurate cost inputs, vendor quotations, and procurement strategies to ensure competitive and feasible project bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the business development and project teams to understand pre-bid requirements.
  • Identify and liaise with vendors for obtaining quotations of materials, equipment, and services during the bidding stage.
  • Prepare cost estimates and procurement budgets for proposals.
  • Compare vendor offers, prepare cost sheets, and provide inputs for bid submissions.
  • Support in techno-commercial evaluation of vendor quotations.
  • Negotiate preliminary terms with vendors to ensure competitiveness in bids.
  • Maintain a database of vendor pricing, specifications, and procurement trends.
  • Assist in transitioning from pre-sales to project execution phase after bid finalization.
  • Ensure documentation, compliance, and timely reporting of pre-sales procurement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pre-sales procurement (solar industry experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of solar EPC procurement processes and bid timelines.
  • Good knowledge of vendor identification, costing, and price benchmarking.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Rakhial, Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
