Job Description

Position :Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Indirect Purchase

Department :Indirect Purchase

Function :Purchase

Reporting to :Manager Indirect Purchase

Location :Pimpri

Summary of Job description

1) Responsible for Procurement of material & services related to following functions IT, DTC, HR & Admin, Accounts & Controlling, Quality & Contract Management.

2)Also, responsible for contractual agreements like hotel contracts, manpower services, Canteen, Bus Services, rental car agreements etc.

3)Negotiating the commercials and issuing the Purchase Orders with selected vendors.

4)Preparing proposals according to final negotiations, getting management approval as per authority matrix and generating PO s & distribution of POs to suppliers and follow-up ensuring on time deliveries.

5)Ensure on time delivery of material/services as per delivery dates of the Purchase Orders. 6)Development of vendors in Pune, and nearby area for special materials/services & cost reduction point of view.

7)Conducting E auctions for commercial finalization.

8)Value creation through various cost saving measures like alternate sourcing, re negotiation, volume bundling etc.

Qualification and experience :

BE- Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 Years of experience in Indirect Purchase .

Knowledge / skills required :

Strong Commercial acumen with good knowledge of commercial agreements & related terms/ conditions.
Sound knowledge of Indirect Purchase activities.
Proficient in SAP MM Module.
Well trained in Planning & Cost Analysis.
Can work efficiently with cross functional teams.
Communication & inter-personal relations .
Proficiency in MS Office presentation.
Good Communication and Networking Skills .
