Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Analysis

Ability to gather, interpret, and analyze market data to support strategic decisions.

2. Sensory Evaluation Skills

Experience or understanding of how to conduct external and internal product sensory tests.

3. Field Marketing

To execute on-ground marketing activities like sampling, activations, and consumer interactions.

4. Sales Data Interpretation

Competence in collecting and analyzing sales data to evaluate performance and trends.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

Ability to work with Purchase, Audit, and other internal departments for compliance and alignment.

6. Communication Skills

Strong written and verbal communication to interact effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

7. Reporting & Documentation

Competency in preparing weekly reports, market visit notes, and activity summaries.

8. Project Execution

Ability to plan, execute, and monitor marketing initiatives independently or with a team.

Roles & Responsibilities

Must Haves

1. Willingness to travel across assigned regions. – 7 days in a month in West and remaining in West Bengal
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Basic proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for data compilation and analysis.
4. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent time management and reporting skills.

Good to Have:

1. Prior experience in the bakery, confectionery, or FMCG industry.
2. Knowledge of local languages of the assigned regions (English, Bengali, Marathi or Hindi).
3. Experience / Knowledge in sensory evaluation or product testing.
4. Experience / Understanding of field marketing campaigns and brand activations.
5. Understanding of market research techniques.
