Senior Executive Inventory & Refurb

A. Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Utilization & Accuracy

• Ensure optimal utilization of inventory through correct allocation and movement.
  
• Monitor and enforce

  FIFO (First In, First Out)

  for all outward inventory movement.
• Track idle, slow-moving, and blocked stock; recommend corrective actions.
  

2. Refurbishment Cycle Management

• Drive efficiency in refurb cycles for furniture, appliances, and sofas.
  
• Coordinate with technicians, carpenters, vendors, and internal teams to reduce refurb TAT.
  
• Ensure refurb quality standards and Ready-to-Rent (R2R) compliance.
  

3. Warranty & Claims Handling

• Manage warranty claims with OEMs and refurb vendors for faulty products.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow up for timely claim closure.
  

4. Damage, Scrap & Recovery

• Track damages and perform RCA for inventory losses.
  
• Manage scrap approval and sale process to maximize recovery and minimize shrinkage.
  

5. Audit & Compliance

• Handle

  inventory and condition audits across all warehouses

  .
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
  
• Ensure audit data accuracy, documentation readiness, and SOP compliance.
  

6. Process Improvement & Reporting

• Review and improve inventory and refurb SOPs on a continuous basis.
  
• Prepare reports/dashboards on utilization, refurb TAT, warranty claims, scrap, and audit findings.
  

7. Team Coordination

• Work closely with Inventory Supervisors, Warehouse Managers, Procurement, and Operations teams.
  
• Ensure daily adherence to inventory, refurb, and audit processes.
  

B. Required Skills & Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or refurb operations.
  
• Strong understanding of inventory systems (ERP/WMS, Excel, Google Sheets).
  
• Hands-on exposure to furniture/appliances/sofa refurb cycles.
  
• Strong analytical, RCA, and process-improvement skills.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
  

C. Preferred Skills

• Experience in rental, logistics, or consumer durables industry.
  
• Knowledge of barcode/RFID-based inventory systems.
  
• Experience in managing warranty claims and refurb vendors.
  
• Exposure to audit handling and compliance processes.
  
• Familiarity with lean inventory and operational excellence practices.
