Senior Engineering Program Manager

Job Description – Program Manager (Cloud & Networking Domain)What You’ll DoAs a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing critical strategic and customer-focused programs, ensuring tactical alignment of engineering product development with customer and market segment requirements. This role demands a hybrid approach – being detail-oriented while also steering strategic aspects of the product to align with the company’s vision. You will collaborate extensively with senior engineering staff (technologists and managers), product managers, sales teams, and TAC leaders to drive successful outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesDrive planning and execution of programs, ensuring cross-functional alignment between product teams, development organizations, test centers, documentation, delivery, and account teams. Translate conceptual ideas into actionable programs with clear objectives and deliverables. Integrate strategic and customer-focused programs with release strategy and forward planning of Aruba software products. Exercise broad judgment, thought leadership, and innovative problem-solving in tackling complex issues. Provide program updates to senior management (VP, Director level) to facilitate decision-making. Manage multiple programs in parallel across different organizations with a high level of responsiveness. Balance reactive tactical requirements with proactive strategic planning. Identify program interdependencies and critical paths to mitigate risks effectively. Demonstrate proven experience delivering large, end-to-end programs spanning multiple quarters. What You Need to BringExperience: Minimum 2+ years managing cloud programs (public/private cloud software programs end-to-end). Methodologies: Strong Agile practitioner with experience in iterative or shorter release cycles for cloud programs. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of microservices architecture, cloud services, and DevOps tools. Exposure to cloud networking domain, software engineering lifecycle, test processes, defect tracking, software branch management, and hardware program deliverables. Familiarity with wireless and networking technology, Linux/Unix programming environments. Certifications (preferred): AWS/Azure Cloud certifications, PMP / PgMP / CSM. Education: BE/ME/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Skills: Strong problem-solving and detail orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project (MPP), JIRA, Confluence, Wiki. Ability to lead and deliver product development programs from conception to deployment and support. Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development life cycles.
