Key Responsibilities

• Work with Design & Development teams throughout the product development life cycle to ensure hardware and software quality requirements and goals are established and met.
• Drive effective hardware and software design best practices to ensure project work products comply with applicable standards & requirements.
• Manufacturing procedure and document creation.
• EMS supplier management.
• 2+ years in PCB assembly experience; building the complete board from the schematics/engineering drawing
• Must be able to read PCB layout, drawings and schematics
• Excellent manual soldering, SMT and through hole experience. ESD Awareness.
• Customer issues management.
• PCBA troubleshooting.
• Ensure design change control requirements are met and appropriately traced throughout the design & development process as per Configuration Management Plan.
• Instrumental in the development of robust new product introduction or product life cycle processes, including Hardware and Software, in an ISO9001, AS9100 or equivalent environment.
• A good understanding of Design, Development, New Product Introduction best practices, including methodologies, procedures and tools.
• Establish and implement a process to determine root cause and corrective action for quality system escapes.
• Competent in reliability, risk management, and statistical tools and techniques.
• An excellent team player with good communications, problem solving and influencing skills acquired in a technical community.
• Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) studies to identify potential risks and mitigate them.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
• IPC-610 & IPC-J-STD certified.
• 2+ years in an Aerospace Organization.
• 1+ years of experience working with SAP.
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering, methods engineering, process engineering, and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
