Job Description

As a Sales Manager for a company operating in the fluid system components industry, your role involves early engagement with Owner & PMC/EPC Companies to identify projects and restrict AVL. Your responsibilities include: - Preparing strategy documents for the identified projects - Managing package vendors - Driving project sales in South India - Establishing strong relationships with Owner Companies, Contractors, EPCs, and end-users in the region - Understanding market requirements and competition dynamics - Analyzing competition in the assigned geography to protect market share effectively - Managing end user development and mentoring with an end-to-end service approach - Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships - Implementing key account management practices - Forecasting sales and devising sales strategies - Managing opportunities and providing regular reports - Supporting the sales team by identifying key projects and engaging early with Owner and EPC Companies - Collaborating with all departments at Owner companies/EPC In addition to your role-specific responsibilities, some core competencies required for this position include: - Effective communication with associates, customers, and handling sensitive information appropriately - Active listening and clear verbal articulation - Teamwork skills to deliver results collaboratively - Interpersonal skills to address work-related queries, demonstrate empathy, and consider the impact of actions on coworkers - Customer-centric approach in delivering, anticipating, and maintaining professionalism with customers - Job competency by possessing the necessary technical skills and seeking continuous development - Meeting job goals and objectives in the best interest of the organization - Delivering high-quality results accurately and on time Qualifications and Experience: - Education: Graduation in B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical or Instrumentation engineering. (CS / IT backgrounds not preferred) - Experience: 5-6 years of selling products and solutions to EPC and other customers involved in projects, with prior experience in project sales being mandatory for this role Additional Details: - The position is currently based in Chennai and Bengaluru, but mobility may be required as per business needs.,
