Job Description

Job Description: -

Monitoring of Glass melting operation.
To work on SAP-PP module.
Independently managing shifts operation (including Night shift).
Control process parameters for different products under defined tolerance limits.
Process defect analysis and corrective action deployment in shifts.
Handling the emergency to maintain stability of the process.
Drive improvement activities on shop floor to deliver product of right quality.
Coordinate and ensure implementation of all activities of production functions.
Yield performance – Critical in achievement of this performance measure.
10.Drive production activities daily and work closely with Production Associates, Quality Inspectors and Process Engineering/Engineering team members.
11.Cost – Process control through efficient energy use and raw material consumption.
12.To deploy & work towards safe work culture by adopting Saint-Gobain EHS culture.
13.Promote and ensure the health, safety and welfare of all Production Associates, other employees, contractors and visitors.
14.Establish a high level of discipline and sustain this within the Operations team.
15.Manage and control all production related costs through BOM, budget and variance analysis.
Knowledge of basic problem-solving tools like 7QC tools, 5S, WCM Methodologies etc
