Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Production Management:
Supervise day-to-day manufacturing processes, including material movement, machine operations (mixing, extrusion, tyre building, curing, and finishing), and adherence to production schedules.
Quality Control:
Ensure all products meet specific quality standards and customer requirements
Process Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and scrap reduction projects to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize costs. Analyze production data to identify areas for enhancement.
Maintenance & Equipment:
Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability, minimize downtime, and troubleshoot machinery issues. Oversee routine maintenance checks and ensure equipment operates in safe working condition.
Safety & Compliance:
Establish and enforce safety procedures and protocols on the shop floor to ensure a safe working environment and minimize incidents.
Manpower & Team Management:
Manage manpower allocation, supervision, and discipline. Provide technical support and training to production teams and machine operators.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate operational and manpower records, including production logs and downtime reports. Prepare reports and present progress to management and stakeholders.
