Senior Engineer - Production

1. Production Planning & Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet targets. - Ensure efficient utilization of resources, machinery, and manpower."

2. Process Improvement & Optimisation
- Analyse current production processes and identify areas for improvement. - Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and increase efficiency."

3. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. - Coordinate with the quality department for inspections, audits, and compliance."

4. Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Identify and resolve production issues, including machinery breakdowns. - Work with maintenance teams to ensure preventive maintenance is carried out."

5. Cost & Resource Management
- Monitor production costs and suggest measures to reduce them. - Optimize inventory and manage raw materials to avoid shortages or excess."

6. Team Supervision & Training
- Supervise production staff and provide necessary training. - Ensure safety protocols are followed on the shop floor."

7. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. - Document process changes, improvements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)."

8. Coordination with Other Departments
- Work closely with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth production. - Provide feedback for product design improvements based on manufacturability."

1. Understanding of automation processes in the motor assembly line.
2. Ability to identify and resolve equipment-related issues. 3. Experience with SAP, or other manufacturing execution systems.

1. Skills in improving cycle time, throughput, and efficiency using lean manufacturing principles.
2. Knowledge of line balancing, takt time calculation, and material flow management. 3. Knowledge of jigs, fixtures, and tooling used in production lines.
