Senior Engineer - Electrical

What You’ll Do

• Able to perform electrical calculation for selecting required switchgear, busbar sizing & enclosure sizing for switchboard product.
• Act as the technical point of contact for assigned work to Pune team & closely work with El Paso, US engineering team.
• Work closely with engineers, through order reviews and process improvements, to ensure accurate interpretation of customer supplied order information.
• Support and assist assembly teams in resolution of process and/or information quality problems.
• Manage and deliver assigned tasks as per schedule.
• Driving continuous improvement to meet project KPIs, and ensure stakeholder & customer satisfaction
  

• Hands on experience in calculations and selections of different switchgear, Busbar sizing, Enclosure selection, protection relays, CT’s & PT’s.
• Develops a variety of complex drawings (Electrical +Mechanical) and bills-of-material based upon established product designs for switchboard product line.
• Create or edit bills of material to ensure correct material demand requirements for purchased and self-manufactured components.
• Experience in using NEMA & UL Standards while designing panelboards and switchboards.
• Provide technical assistance to sales and manufacturing shop floor for smoother exceution of orders on floor.
• Possesses strong skills and proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and other Eaton specific Engineering/Business software applications like Enovia, Bidman, AS400 & Design automation.
• Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with cross functional teams within and outside organization to drive business objectives in LV products. "
