Senior Engineer - Electrical

Role Overview: As a member of the electrical engineering team, you will report to the Lead Electrical Engineer and be responsible for developing various electrical deliverables including single line diagrams, schematic & wiring diagrams, calculations, specifications, and datasheets. You will also assist in site UPS design and procurement, execution, and modifications, ensuring that the battery support elements are effectively integrated. Your role will involve executing assigned work in compliance with applicable contract procedures, codes, and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking vendor calculations against design codes, preparing RFQ packages, reviewing supplier quotations, and building strong client relationships to meet expectations. Managing workload and budgets across designated work scopes, understanding process design data, and participating in various site-related activities are also key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop electrical deliverables such as single line diagrams, schematic & wiring diagrams, calculations, specifications, and datasheets - Assist in site UPS design and procurement, execution, and modifications - Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, codes, and standards - Check vendor calculations against design code and best practice - Prepare RFQ packages for the Electrical packages following Client, Wood, and Project procedures and standards - Review Suppliers quotations and prepare technical quotation evaluation - Build strong Client relations to ensure expectations are met - Manage workload and budgets across designated work scopes to achieve targets - Understand, review, and comment on process design data for appropriate equipment specification and selection - Review vendor documentation requirements for project integration - Participate in site visits, surveys, queries, discussions, and activities involving suppliers, vendors, contractors, clients, and site personnel Qualifications: - Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in Electrical System Design in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical/ Power / Pharmaceutical Plant Projects - Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience with electrical power systems, international codes & standards, and Industry accepted electrical engineering software - Highly motivated, well-organized, resourceful, and proactive - Good interpersonal skills with proficiency in written and spoken English - Flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure and a positive attitude towards success - Experience in Vendor co-ordination meetings and supporting engineering design reviews - Proven ability to work effectively in a project team environment - Proficiency in common software packages such as Microsoft Office (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
