Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Onshore/Offshore (Design)
Experience: 10 – 20 yearsLocation: ChennaiIndustry: Oil & Gas / EPCJob Description:We are looking for a senior Electrical Engineer with extensive onshore and offshore design engineering experience in the oil & gas sector. The role involves leading FEED and detailed engineering deliverables, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with global standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform concept, FEED, and detailed engineering for electrical systems in oil & gas facilities (onshore/offshore).Prepare/review load lists, SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, equipment specifications, and datasheets.Conduct power system studies (load flow, short-circuit, relay coordination, arc-flash) using ETAP/Power Tools.Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, and other international standards.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, instrumentation, civil/structural).Review vendor documents and support design approvals.Provide technical support during design reviews, model reviews, and client interactions.Requirements:B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.10–20 years of design engineering experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas projects.Proficiency in ETAP or equivalent analysis tools.Strong knowledge of international codes & standards.Excellent design documentation and review skills.📩 Email: muthulakshmi@provhr.in📞 Phone: +91-7305087701
