This position involves working within the MEP Design & EngineeringTeam at Axium GlobalDelivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team consists ofskilled professionals, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineerswith varied experience. The Senior Engineer would require taking on aleadership role with the potential of growing a team reporting to them

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Reportingto the Team Leader of MEP Design & Engineering

Responsibilityfor the overall design of electrical systems & deliverables, includingConcept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender Design /Documentation (including Technical Specifications, BOQ, Schedules and Drawings)

Opportunity to work on flagship projects across multiple regions including the US, UK, Australia and the Middle East gaining valuable international project experience

Abilityto design LV / HV Systems to current legislation and codes of practice forvarious types of buildings based on client brief & guidelines

Abilityto work independently on various electrical calculations and power/lighting/schematic mark-ups as per project requirements

Therole will involve regular communication with the client and taking on designresponsibilities on project types like commercial, residential, retail,laboratories & hospitals.

The role wouldinvolve understanding codes & standards local to project location andutilizing the latest & industry leading software.

Experience with UK and US projects is highly important, demonstrating familiarity with their respective standards, regulations and design practices to ensure compliance and project success.

Qualification and Experience Required:

BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in electricalengineering or a related technical field

Minimum 6 years of experience indesigning electrical systems for commercial, retail, hospital or residentialprojects

Experience using electrical designsoftware for carrying out electrical calculations

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit forpreparing electrical design layouts and using MS Office

Proven experience in managing clientscommunication independently

Experience working with reputableglobal MEP engineering companies

Experience working onUK/Australia/Middle East projects
