Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Design Engineer located in Mulshi. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems and components for biogas-based renewable energy projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating electrical schematics, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with electrical standards, and collaborating with other engineering teams. The engineer will also be involved in troubleshooting and providing technical support for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in electrical system design and electrical schematics
• Experience with renewable energy projects, specifically biogas-based energy generation
• Strong understanding of electrical standards and compliance regulations
• Ability to conduct site inspections and provide on-site technical support
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with AutoCAD or other electrical design software is a plus

ROLE

As an Electrical Design Engineer at IETL, requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEXPERIENCE

·      Basic and detailed engineering knowledge in Power plants, Oil n Gas Industry, Chemical, Metal & Mining industry, switchyard, Water Plants etc.

·      HV/MV/LV single line diagrams.

·      Substation Design calculation and Layout

·      Lighting calculation & design.

·      Earthing calculation & design.

·      Lightning Protection system calculation & design.

·      Cable trays and cable sizing Calculation

·      Load calculations.

·      Knowledge on low voltage system like CCTV, Public address, Telecom etc

·      Knowledge on Hazardous area classification.

·      Short circuit calculations, load flow studies, relay co-ordinations, relay settings, CT sizing, harmonic analysis, transient analysis, arc flash study.

·      Flexible to work on challenging schedules.

·      Adherence to Quality Assurance system, procedures, Design basis, design guidelines /Standards/ Specification as applicable.

·      High commitment and willingness to perform.

·      Mentoring/Training of design engineers.

Required Software skills:

MS Office, AutoCAD, Dialux EVO, ETAP, PDMS, E3D.
