Job Title: Drupal Engineer, Corporate Solutions The Drupal Engineer will design and implement solutions and provide hands-on engineering support for Corporate Solutions products, enabling Papa Johns to lead the industry in exploring, creating, and supporting the highest-quality, customer first experiences. This role is part of a team accountable for the conception, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of various business-critical applications, many of which are customer-facing. Specifically, the focus for this role will be in Corporate Solutions applications – and, more specifically, those applications that support various Drupal “microsites” within our Learning and Development and Operations platforms. In this role, you are responsible for designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting solutions, primarily in Drupal on the Acquia Content Management System (CMS) with documents stored in the Bynder Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, in support of our Learning and Development and Operations microsites. This position will work collaboratively with developers, architects, business analysts, and other team members during the entire product engineering lifecycle. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Drive product quality and excellence in our Corporate Solutions applications, with a goal of exceeding our customers’ expectations Contribute to the design and testing of high-performance Corporate Solutions applications that deliver fantastic customer experiences and proactively mitigate any degradation of service in production Build and maintain sites in Drupal, mostly interacting with documents stored in the Bynder DAM. Administer user security in both Acquia, our Content Management System (CMS), and Bynder, our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Support users with questions and updates, both major and minor, to several microsites, including learning and operations. Convert sites developed in other technologies, such as WordPress, into Drupal and stand-up microsites in the Acquia Content Management System (CMS) with them. Work hand-in-hand with development teams to ensure that quality is “designed in” at every step, and that the testing approach aligns and evolves with the solution architecture & implementation, using an agile mindset. Participate in collaborative team planning, estimating, and story grooming; countering/proposing solutions, identifying and vocalizing risks, and suggesting design and design approaches. Assist with Release coordination, validation, and support when needed. Enable continued improvement in key areas. Bring “best in class” to Papa Johns – apply enterprise and industry best practices to new business or technology requirements, and advocate for changes in requirements as needed . Familiarity with tools for Agile management & collaboration in a DevOps environment (e.g. JIRA, Rally, Mingle, Git, Slack, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, ADO, etc.) Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills to create a test strategy per digital product, accurately update team with testing results, visualize data quality or code coverage gaps, and highlight risks and recommendations for management Willingness and ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders in a clear, professional manner Design thinking and problem-solving skills for complex business processes and systems Ability to document processes and procedures and monitor for effectiveness Excellent analytical skills, with an eye to detail and accuracy Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with Java, SQL, HTML5, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, Linux Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with WordPress Education, Experience And Certifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Information Systems 4+ years relevant work experience 3+ years experience with Drupal, Acquia CMS, and Bynder DAM Experience in the product development lifecycle for high-volume, high-availability applications for a Fortune 500 organization Show more Show less
