Senior Drilling Solutions Engineer

As a Drilling Solutions Engineer with NOV in Mumbai, India, your role will involve identifying new opportunities, expanding product development, and maximizing profitability for customer accounts. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Customer Service:** - Maintain good working relationships with customer accounts personnel. - Deliver technology presentations and training sessions. - Monitor customer issues, feedback, and deadlines. - Ensure timely and accurate invoicing according to NOV and local customer legal requirements. - **Sales Support:** - Qualify opportunities and offer insights to maximize revenue. - Create technical evaluations and product recommendations. - Support sales in achieving internal sales KPIs. - Review customer orders and make competent technical and commercial evaluations. - **Reporting:** - Create Application Maps and maintain product offering maps. - Capture tool performance data and prepare customer-run reports. - Develop case histories, run reports, and incident reports analysis. - Initiate bit design iteration proposals and gather competitors' tool performance data. - **Operations:** - Adhere to and promote the company's Safety and Quality standards. - Support field operations when required. - Participate in knowledge development and mentoring activities. - **Product Development:** - Justify the product development process for new designs. - Support sales in developing the correct technical response to clients. - Provide support for the product life cycle progress. - **Quality System:** - Participate in the ReedHycalog Quality Management System. - Provide feedback on product performance trends for reliability and quality improvement. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Petroleum preferred). - Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar position. - Excellent presentation and communication skills. - In-depth knowledge about drill-bits and drilling operations. - Knowledge about coring and bore-hole is preferred.
