Senior Drilling Solutions Engineer

As a Drilling Solutions Engineer at NOV in Mumbai, India, your role will involve customer-facing engineering responsibilities such as identifying new opportunities, expanding product development, and maximizing profitability for accounts. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain strong working relationships with customer accounts personnel, including office and field teams, to ensure the highest level of customer service. - Deliver technology presentations and training sessions to customers when necessary. - Conduct customer visits, provide field site support, and engage in intercompany travel as required. - Monitor customer issues, feedback, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure effective handling and communication of internal processes where necessary. - Ensure timely, complete, and accurate invoicing based on NOV and local customer legal requirements. Sales Support: - Assist in qualifying opportunities and offering insights into processes and timings to maximize revenue. - Create technical evaluations and product recommendations to enhance sales and profitability. - Support sales in achieving internal KPIs and metrics. - Review customer orders, assess drilling application needs, and make technical and commercial evaluations. - Provide support for the contract/quote review process and highlight any non-standard technical requirements. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Petroleum preferred). - Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. - Excellent presentation and communication skills. - In-depth knowledge of drill-bits and drilling operations. - Knowledge of coring and bore-hole operations preferred. - Ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information effectively. - Effective problem-solving skills. - Efficient time management and willingness to support colleagues. - Quick learner with strong presentation and organizational skills. - Awareness of organizational culture and ability to adjust personal style accordingly. - Professional representation of the company in various settings.
