Senior Drilling Solutions Engineer

As a Drilling Solutions Engineer at NOV's Reedhycalog team in Mumbai, India, your primary role involves identifying new opportunities, expanding product development, and maximizing profitability for customer accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with customer accounts personnel, delivering technology presentations, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, you will support sales in qualifying opportunities, creating technical evaluations, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing according to legal requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain good working relationships with customer accounts personnel, including office and field teams - Deliver technology presentations and training sessions as required - Monitor customer issues, feedback, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure effective handling - Support sales in qualifying opportunities and maximizing revenue on the account - Review customer orders and provide competent technical and commercial evaluations - Provide support for the contract/quote review process and raise visibility to any non-standard technical requirements Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Petroleum - preferred) - Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar position - Excellent presentation and communication skills - In-depth knowledge about drill-bits and drilling operations - Knowledge about coring and bore-hole is preferred - Strategic thinking: Ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information effectively - Operating skills: Apportion time effectively, provide necessary information to colleagues, and eliminate roadblocks - Quick learner with strong presentation and organizational skills - Confidence and professionalism in representing the company in person and in writing This role offers an opportunity to work in a customer-facing engineering position, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to the success of the company's drilling solutions.,
