We at ValueLabs have an Opening for Senior VB.net Developer role. Below is the JD for the same..

Role : Sr. VB.net Developer

Overall Experience 8+ Years

Preferable Immediate-15 days Joiners

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in VB.NET and VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office) development.
Proven experience in building custom Office Add-ins (Excel, Word) with rich UI, event handling, and data binding.
Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, indexing).
Experience with remote API calls (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML parsing, authentication via OAuth, API keys).
Familiarity with .NET Framework (4.8 or earlier) and .NET Core/5+ (as applicable).
Experience working in financial or broking domains is highly preferred.
Prior exposure to ANVA (Advanced Network Valuation Application) or similar valuation platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet) is a strong advantage.
Understanding of data modeling, transactional integrity, and audit trails in financial systems.
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools in enterprise environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Microsoft Office Add-ins using VB.NET and VSTO for Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Integrate Add-ins with remote APIs (REST/SOAP) to fetch, process, and display real-time market data, trade information, or valuation results.
Develop and optimize SQL Server databases and stored procedures to support high-volume data operations and reporting.
Collaborate with business analysts and domain experts to understand complex broking workflows, particularly in valuation, trade execution, and compliance.
Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices in .NET and VSTO development.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues between Office applications, backend services, and third-party systems.
Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers.
