Senior Developer

Job Title :: Senior Software Engineer (Duck Creek, .Net)

Location :: Gurugram/Bengaluru India (Hybrid)

Minimum relevant experience :: 5

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and in-depth investigations by analyzing and debugging code to resolve complex production issues in Duck Creek applications.
• Fix production defects promptly to minimize downtime and ensure system stability.
• Develop, provide, and maintain automated solutions (e.g., scripts, tools) to address recurring issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify and resolve root causes of recurring problems through thorough analysis and proactive measures.
• Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and incident data to identify trends and prevent future occurrences.
• Uphold high standards of code quality by conducting thorough code reviews and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with application development teams to align on solutions, share insights, and support ongoing enhancements.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation in support processes, deployments, and monitoring.
• Support audit and regulatory investigations by providing technical evidence, reports, and remediation recommendations.
• Contribute to the remediation of security vulnerabilities in collaboration with L2 support and application development teams.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in .NET (version 6.0 or higher), including C# and related frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek platform (e.g., Policy, Author, Manuscripts, Forms, or similar components).
• Strong knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services) for application hosting and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in SQL (querying, optimization, and database interactions, preferably SQL Server).
• Solid understanding of Insurance domain knowledge, particularly in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in GitHub for version control, branching, and collaboration.
• Demonstrated experience participating in and conducting code reviews to ensure best practices.
