Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for developing, reviewing, and optimizing engineering designs while providing technical guidance to junior engineers. This role ensures that designs meet customer requirements, statutory codes, safety standards, and project timelines, and supports smooth execution at site and production levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Define design strategy, standards, and best practices
• Review customer specifications, BOQs, and tender documents
• Provide technical inputs during pre-sales and project planning stages
• Ensure timely release of drawings as per project schedules
• Support project teams during site execution and technical challenges
• Handle design changes, deviations, and approvals
• Build, mentor, and lead a team of design engineers and draftsmen
• Work closely with Sales, Projects, Procurement, Production, and Quality teams
• Support sales team with technical proposals and feasibility inputs
• Interface with clients, consultants, and statutory authorities when required

Educational Qualification

• BE / BTech / MTech in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering

Experience

• 5–8+ years of relevant design and engineering experience

Software Proficiency

• AutoCAD
• SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor
• MS Excel (advanced), MS Office
• ERP (preferred)

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
