Senior Design Engineer

As a Senior Design Engineer specialized in the EOT Crane and Heavy Fabrication Machinery industry, your role at Endeavour Instrument Private Limited in Changodar, Ahmedabad will involve leading the design and development of EOT cranes and material handling equipment. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed drawings, 3D models & BOM using SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor, collaborating with production and procurement teams, ensuring structural and mechanical strength analysis of components, interacting with customers for technical inputs and final approval drawings, as well as mentoring junior design engineers and supporting design documentation processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of EOT cranes and material handling equipment. - Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models & BOM using SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor. - Collaborate with production and procurement teams for technical guidance. - Ensure structural and mechanical strength analysis of components. - Customer interaction for technical inputs and final approval drawings. - Mentor junior design engineers and support design documentation processes. Required Skills: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design software. - Strong understanding of fabrication processes, material selection, and GD&T. - Knowledge of IS/IEC standards related to cranes and lifting equipment. - Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously. Qualifications & Experience: - Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in the Crane or Heavy Machinery industry. - Hands-on experience with EOT Crane design is a must. If you are the right candidate, the salary range for this position is negotiable, ranging from 40,000 to 70,000 per month.
