Role Description

Detail Engineer

weight estimation, data recording, and technical coordination

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare

  detailed fabrication and engineering drawings

  using AutoCAD / Inventor
• Develop regular and irregular shapes such as

  cones, transition pieces, bends, and complex geometries

• Create structural fabrication details

  and assembly layouts
• Coordinate with project, production, and quality teams for design clarification
• Conduct

  site visits to assess equipment feasibility and installation constraints

• Perform weight estimation and material take-offs

• Maintain structured engineering records and documentation

• Ensure compliance with Indian, American, and European engineering standards

  where applicable
• Support continuous improvement in design accuracy and fabrication efficiency

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 5–7 years of experience

  in detailed engineering or fabrication design
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD and Inventor

• Working knowledge of MS Office tools

• Prior experience in Air Pollution Control Systems

  preferred (Bag Filters, Dryer, Wet Scrubber, ESP, etc.)

Desired Skills

• Strong expertise in

  heavy fabrication detailing and development of complex shapes

• Experience in structural detailing and manufacturing drawings

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and industry standards

• Good analytical, documentation, and coordination skills

• Willingness to travel for site feasibility assessments
