Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Database & ETL Developer with strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, cloud integration, and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable database architectures, optimizing complex queries, working with modern ETL tools, and delivering insightful dashboards and reports. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams and the ability to manage tasks in a dynamic, agile environment. Experience: 7+ Years Location: Mohali (Work from Office Only) Key Responsibilities: Design and implement normalized and scalable database schemas using ER modeling techniques. Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, triggers, views, and advanced SQL queries (e.g., joins, subqueries, indexing). Execute database backup, restore, and recovery operations ensuring data integrity and high availability. Optimize SQL performance through indexing strategies, execution plans, and query refactoring. Lead and support cloud migration and integration projects involving platforms such as AWS and Azure. Implement and manage data lake architectures such as AWS HealthLake and AWS Glue pipelines. Create and manage interactive dashboards and business reports using Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or Tableau. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and use tools like JIRA, Azure Boards, ClickUp, or Trello for task and project tracking. Required Skills: Strong experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL , including advanced T-SQL programming. In-depth knowledge of ER modeling and relational database design principles. Proficiency in query optimization , indexing, joins, and subqueries. Hands-on experience with modern ETL and data integration platforms such as Airbyte, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and AWS Glue . Understanding of Data Lake / Health Lake architectures and their role in cloud data ecosystems. Proficiency with reporting tools like Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or Tableau . Experience with database backup, restore , and high availability strategies . Familiarity with project/task tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Boards, ClickUp, or Trello . Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently across multiple projects. Nice to Have: Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Exposure to healthcare data standards and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, FHIR).
