We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our client’s team Mobilewalla a global, fast-growing consumer data and technology company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, USA and help continue to evolve the platform while working closely with your fellow engineers to develop large-scale systems that process and act on massive amounts of data both in real-time and offline.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Advanced Analytics:

o Develop and implement predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract

meaningful insights from large datasets specific to the Telco domain.

o Design experiments and conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and

opportunities for product enhancement.

2. Machine Learning:

o Apply machine learning techniques to optimize and personalize Telco product features.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our products, ensuring seamless user experiences.

3. Data Modelling:

o Build and maintain robust data models (community detection) for Telco-specific datasets,

considering scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.

o Continuously evaluate and enhance existing models (Householding and Business Community

detection) to improve predictive performance.

4. Product Enhancement:

o Work closely with product managers to identify Telco market trends and customer needs,

translating them into actionable data science projects.

o Provide data-driven recommendations to improve product features, user engagement, and overall customer satisfaction.

5. Communication:

o Effectively communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:

o Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. Experience:

o Proven track record of at least 4 years in a data science role with a focus on Telco competitive

intelligence products.

o Strong experience in applying machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling in the Telco domain.

3. Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

o Hands-on experience with relevant machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch,

PySpark) and data manipulation tools.

4. Domain Knowledge:

o In-depth understanding of Telecommunications industry trends, challenges, and emerging

technologies.

o Familiarity with Telco-specific datasets and data sources.

5. Preferred Qualification:

o Experience with Location Intelligence, including geospatial analytics, GIS tools, and the

application of location-based data in Telco products.

6. Collaboration:

o Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product

management, engineering, and business stakeholders.

7. Communication Skills:

o Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical findings in a clear

and understandable manner.
