Oracle (PL/SQL) Developer/Architect (Finance Background Preferred)

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a robust development and architecture background, particularly in finance-related projects. The ideal candidate should exhibit exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively. As part of the team, your responsibilities will include developing, optimizing, and maintaining intricate Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, views, and cursors. You will engage in performance tuning activities to augment database efficiency and reliability, while also leading technical initiatives and presenting solutions to stakeholders as an individual contributor. Furthermore, you will be expected to collaborate with vendors and business teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the successful execution of projects. Your strong analytical capabilities will be crucial in troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving technical issues, along with ensuring clear communication and documentation with cross-functional teams. For Developers, a minimum of 2-5 years of development experience with Oracle PL/SQL and associated technologies is required. For Architects, a background of 6-8 years in IT architecture, with 4-5 years of hands-on development experience, is preferred. Proficiency in writing and optimizing PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, views, and cursors, is essential, along with a proven track record in complex software projects. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The capability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, and experience in finance-related IT projects are advantageous.
