Shift Timing - 5.30-6pm to 2.30-3am IST

At Flodata Analytics, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with a passion for transforming data into strategic business insights. This role requires a high degree of proficiency in SQL and Tableau, with solid Python skills to support automation and backend processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Business Intelligence & Analytics:
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on data visualization and storytelling, ensuring all reporting is clear, accurate, and impactful.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts in best practices for data visualization, SQL optimization, and dashboard designs
• Advanced Data Management & Optimization:
• Architect and optimize complex SQL queries, database schemas, and data pipelines to ensure high-performance data retrieval and reporting.
• Implement strategies to optimize Tableau extracts and database connections, significantly reducing dashboard load times
• Backend Automation & Process Improvement:
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate key data processes, from ETL workflows to reporting tasks.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for data pipelines, reporting, and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• SQL: Deep understanding of database design, query optimization, and complex joins. Ability to write highly efficient, maintainable, and robust SQL queries. Experience with stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning is essential.
• Tableau: Strong knowledge on Tableau, with ability to create sophisticated, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards. Experience with advanced calculations, level-of-detail (LOD) expressions, and performance optimization techniques for large datasets.
• Python: Comfortable with Python for scripting, automation, and backend development. Write clean, reusable code and be familiar with libraries like Pandas and SQLAlchemy for data manipulation and database interactions:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Proactive learner with a mindset to improve processes and systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
