Role Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

• Data Custodianship:

  Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all data repositories and develop sustainable metrics to analyze pertinent information.

• Advanced Insight Delivery:

  Identify trends, patterns, and concerns emerging from complex datasets; provide recommendations to management in a clear, concise manner to enable quick decision-making.

• Forensic Data Analysis:

  Deep-dive into data trends to identify root causes and specific improvement opportunities within revenue and ground operations.

• Reporting & Visibility:

  Design and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports that provide crystal-clear visibility into consumer behavior and operational performance.

• Accountability:

  Ensure rigorous data validation and attention to detail, taking full ownership of the quality of all numbers delivered through BI tools or MIS.

Required Technical Skills

• SQL & Python:

  Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and utilizing Python for data manipulation and automated analysis.

• Data Visualization:

  Proven experience in building complex MIS and multi-layered dashboards in Power BI or similar BI tools.

• Advanced Excel:

  Expertise in creating Pivots and the ability to write macros to automate repetitive data tasks.

• Analytical Frameworks:

  Strong ability to "slice and dice" data, create metric definitions, and analyze/compare P&L data to understand business requirements.

• Project Management:

  Highly desirable experience in managing mid-to-large-scale projects in the fields of logistics or operations.

  Ability to multitask with minimum supervision and a capacity to learn new tools or technologies quickly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education:

  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

• Experience:

  3-5 years of relevant experience in business or data analytics.
