Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Architecture & Implementation:

• Design and deploy advanced cybersecurity controls for cloud, network, and application infrastructure aligned with Viyona Fintech’s security roadmap.

• Cloud & Application Security:

• Implement and manage security measures across

  AWS / Azure

   environments and fintech applications, embedding

  DevSecOps

   practices into CI/CD pipelines.

• Risk & Compliance Management:

• Conduct regular

  risk assessments, vulnerability management, and audits

  , ensuring adherence to

  RBI, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR, and data protection standards

  .

• Threat Detection & Incident Response:

• Lead incident response efforts, coordinate with SOC teams, and manage

  SIEM, endpoint protection, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems

   to minimize threats.

• Identity & Access Management (IAM):

• Administer

  RBAC, MFA, and privileged access management (PAM)

   solutions ensuring least-privilege and secure access policies across systems.

• Governance & Security Awareness:

• Develop security policies, SOPs, and incident playbooks; conduct employee security awareness and phishing simulation programs.

• Collaboration & Innovation:

• Partner with technology, compliance, and risk teams to enhance security resilience while enabling business growth and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of overall IT & cybersecurity experience with at least 3–5 years in a senior or lead security engineering role.
• Strong technical background in:

• Network & Cloud Security

   – Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, VPC, IAM, encryption, DLP.

• Endpoint & SIEM Tools

   – Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Sentinel, etc.

• Application & API Security

  , DevSecOps, and secure SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with

  AWS and Azure

   security configurations and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of

  NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and RBI Cybersecurity Frameworks

  .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP

  CEH

  , or equivalent SANS / GIAC certifications.
• Additional exposure to

  zero-trust architecture

   or

  threat modeling

   frameworks will be an advantage.
