• Provide technical direction to ensure application build work aligns with our future-state architecture and technology stack
• Lead the evolution of our technology products from an internally hosted monolithic application landscape, to a cloud-hosted, API-driven, micro-service, micro-front-end suite of applications
• Provide technical leadership throughout the technology delivery lifecycle, identifying and shaping technology solutions to meet customer needs and move us towards our future-state architecture
• Coach, manage and mentor technical resources across multiple development pods (teams), enhancing their technical capability
• Provide guidance and support adopting DevOps principles: CI/CD pipelines, automation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Keep technology expertise up to date in order to influence direction on tooling, technologies and security
• Designing and implementing solutions using the technologies listed above ,
• Delivering high performing solutions to complex problems,
• Working closely with ITSOs, Project Managers, Product Owner, Technical Leads, Data analysts, server and web developers, QA engineers, and Business Analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading production investigation of various issues related to case management components build using SQL/PLSQL/Java/Microservices/React JS/Kubernetes etc
• Developing code components of java/spring boot
• Developing microservices following 12 factor principles.
• Communication skills to deliver SHOW N TELL to stakeholders.
• Documentation of engineering delivery
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Prior experience working within Banking / Financial Services / Financial Crime is an advantage.
• Technical Leadership skills to guide & mentor developers
• Strong knowledge on Java, Springboot, GCP, ReactJS, SQL/ PL SQL.
• Experience of packaging and deployment using Jenkins, Maven or Gradle.
• Experience of building CI CD pipeline using Jenkins.
• Experience in managing various environments build on linux
• Knowledge on Dockerizing the built applications and deployment into Kubernetes orchestrated Infrastructure.
• Work as a hands on microservices developers with SOLID design principles – will be add on
• Relevant IT experience on UI frameworks (Angular / React JS)
• Strong object oriented design implementation of java concepts using JDK8.
• Knowledge on Dockerizing the built applications and deployment into Kubernetes orchestrated Infrastructure.
