In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening and operating a global compliance framework across multiple regulatory and conduct risk domains. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to embed a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and regulatory accountability across the organization. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, covering monitoring, advisory, and incident management activities. You will operate in a fast-paced, international environment where regulatory expectations continue to evolve. Accountabilities
- Implement, maintain, and enhance compliance policies and controls across conduct risk areas including conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and corruption, fraud, market abuse, outsourcing, ethics, and data protection.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and business teams on ethical standards, conflicts management, and third-party risk considerations.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, thematic reviews, and control testing to assess effectiveness and identify gaps.
- Lead or support investigations into potential misconduct or regulatory breaches, ensuring appropriate escalation and remediation.
- Design and deliver compliance, conduct risk, and ethics training to promote awareness and a strong compliance culture.
- Support alignment with applicable data protection regulations and internal privacy standards.
- Prepare governance and regulatory reports summarizing compliance findings, trends, and remediation progress.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ethical standards, ensuring timely implementation of relevant changes.
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior compliance team members to ensure consistency and quality of execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, conduct risk, ethics, or related roles within financial services.
- Demonstrated experience managing compliance frameworks related to conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and corruption, fraud risk management, and outsourcing.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as ICA, CFE, CAFS, CCAS, CCEP-I, CIPP/E, CFCS, or equivalent are preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, remote, and fast-evolving regulatory environment.
- Proficiency in an additional language is highly desirable.
