Senior Civil Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Civil Engineer to manage construction projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong on-site execution experience, deep understanding of procurement and vendor management, and the ability to coordinate design, execution, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

This is a project ownership role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can independently manage multiple stakeholders, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop detailed project execution plans, work schedules, and timelines.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and clients for design approvals and technical reviews.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

• Lead on-site construction activities, including civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Supervise contractors, site engineers, and labor teams to ensure productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.

3. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Prepare material and quantity estimates (BOQs) and coordinate procurement schedules.
• Source, evaluate, and finalize vendors and contractors in coordination with management.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and service terms to optimize cost and timelines.
• Track inventory and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.

4. Quality & Cost Control

• Implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) measures at all stages.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost sheets, and work progress reports.
• Identify and mitigate cost overruns, technical issues, and schedule risks proactively.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain all project documentation including drawings, approvals, work orders, and invoices.
• Provide regular progress reports and presentations to management or clients.
• Support project billing, certification, and handover processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command of site execution and project management.
• Excellent understanding of civil construction materials, methods, and standards.
• Proven ability in vendor management and procurement planning.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, Excel, and quantity estimation.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills — able to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–12 years of experience in end-to-end project execution (preferably in residential, commercial, or industrial projects).
• Experience with turnkey projects, interiors, or infrastructure will be a plus.

Additional Preferences:

• Exposure to contracts, tendering, and billing processes.
• Familiarity with local building codes, environmental compliance, and liaison work.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple sites simultaneously.
• Own conveyance preferred (if site travel is required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
