Maintenance operations

Execute day to day repair and preventive maintenance activities for the plant including all mobile and stationary equipment and machinery

Maintain machine and manpower related documents like history cards, check lists, attendance sheet of manpower etc.

Perform daily manpower and job planning and allocation of tasks to workmen

Monitor condition of all equipment in section; This includes visual inspection, parameter checking to find out any abnormality in order to stop any future breakdown

Check and list all the equipment within section as per check points and report for necessary action

Support Section Head in inventory planning, issue of material, and complete inventory management for the section

Provide required inputs for reviewing technical vendors from time to time to ensure performance as per agreed upon SLAs

Execute downtime analysis under guidance of Section Head to identify & pinpoint the root cause of any persisting issues

Run regular circuit inspection, execute planned maintenance activities and manage inventory for equipment as per schedule

Support in reducing cost and power consumption through planning and execution of power saving ideas without hindering plant operation

Ensure proper documentation as per ISO guidelines for future refence like maintaining lubrication records, checklists, vibration records etc.

Spare Part Management

Make Purchase requisition based on requirement based on Breakdown/ Preventive or general need

Execute inventory control of spare parts and material pertaining to the department using ERP system for maintaining historical records

Safety

Ensure maintenance of good housekeeping practices and safe work practices for environment-friendly operations and machinery

Ensure safety at site, identify potential hazards, near miss instances and take required action

Ensure maximum safety at site by following all safety norms and training manpower on possible hazards and their prevention before starting site jobs through safety drills
