About The Opportunity

• Lead end-to-end structural design and analysis for cable-stayed bridges — pylons, deck, stay systems, bearings and foundations — ensuring compliance with applicable codes (IRC/IS/Eurocode).
• Perform advanced finite-element and dynamic analysis (construction-stage, erection sequences, wind, seismic, fatigue) using MIDAS Civil, CSI Bridge, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro or equivalent tools.
• Develop detailed design drawings, reinforcement and post-tensioning schedules, cable layouts, specifications and BOQs; review contractor submittals.
• Coordinate geotechnical, hydraulic and structural teams to integrate soil–structure interaction and foundation designs into the superstructure model.
• Provide technical oversight during on-site stages: erection monitoring, temporary works, instrumentation data review and remedial design as required.
• Mentor junior engineers, lead technical reviews, and represent the design team in client/PMC/tender meetings to resolve technical queries.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; 8+ years’ experience in bridge design with significant cable-stayed project exposure.
• Hands-on experience with MIDAS Civil, CSI Bridge, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro or equivalent FEA tools for stage construction and dynamic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of stay-cable behaviour, post-tensioning, erection sequencing, and relevant codes (IRC/IS/Eurocode).
• Proven track record producing construction-ready drawings, specifications and BOQs for large-scale projects and managing client technical reviews.
• Preferred:
• Master’s in Structural Engineering or Bridge Engineering and experience with bridge monitoring/health-assessment systems.
• Experience with tendering, contractual deliverables (ITP/RFIs), and on-site construction supervision for long-span bridges.
