Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Executive in the Steel Trading and Industrial Solutions industry, your role will involve driving business growth through identifying new opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. You will handle Tier-1 customers, collaborate with texturing companies, and promote standard part suppliers to expand overall business revenue. Key Responsibilities: - Business Expansion & Sales Growth - Identify and acquire Tier-1 customers in automotive, tooling, engineering, and manufacturing sectors. - Generate new business leads for steel trading products and industrial solutions. - Conduct market mapping to identify opportunities with OEMs, tool rooms, die manufacturers, and distributors. - Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, traders, and industry partners. - Provide technical and commercial support to customers for successful order closures. - Handle customer visits, technical meetings, and commercial negotiations. - Strategic Planning & Reporting - Develop monthly and quarterly sales strategies to achieve business targets. - Track competitor prices, market trends, demand patterns, and customer requirements. - Prepare regular MIS reports, forecasts, and business presentations for leadership. - Product Knowledge & Technical Understanding - Understand steel grades, tooling materials, industrial parts, and texturing processes. - Educate customers on product applications, benefits, and technical specifications. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong experience in steel trading, industrial sales, or tooling/materials industry. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. - Strong network with OEMs, Tier-1 & Tier-2 suppliers, traders, and tool manufacturers. - Ability to understand technical data sheets, ISO standards, and industrial applications. - Proactive, target-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making. Qualifications: - Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce (preferred). - MBA in Marketing / International Business is an added advantage. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B industrial or steel-sector sales. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Revenue growth & sales closures. - New customer acquisitions (Tier-1/OEM/Tool rooms). - Supplier engagement and cross-selling success. - Market expansion & coverage. - Customer satisfaction and repeat business.,
