Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chief Sales Person to lead and manage the entire sales function of our textile fabric business. The role involves handling the full sales team, driving performance, guiding and mentoring team members, closing key deals, expanding the customer base, and ensuring strong revenue growth and turnover for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise the complete sales team.
• Set sales targets and ensure achievement through effective planning and execution.
• Guide, motivate, and train sales executives to improve performance and productivity.
• Personally handle and close high-value and strategic sales deals.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow company turnover and market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, wholesalers, retailers, and agents.
• Identify new markets, clients, and business opportunities in the textile/fabric segment.
• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and prepare sales reports.
• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Ensure timely collections and follow-ups with clients.
• Represent the company in exhibitions, meetings, and client visits when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in textile fabric sales (mandatory).
• Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and deal-closing abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of fabrics, textile markets, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve aggressive sales targets.
• Strategic thinking with a result-oriented mindset.

Experience

• 8–15 years of experience in textile or fabric sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
