Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders, clients, and development teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, preparing functional specifications, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that meet client expectations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Independently lead the elicitation and documentation of business requirements.
• Translate basic or complex business requirements into technical solutions with guidance.
• Work with the technical team (architects, leads, developers) to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
• Uses a structured requirement process to assess near-term needs.
• Liaise between business and technology teams to ensure quality software delivery.
• Work within defined parameters, taking ownership of problems within their area of knowledge, and identify and escalate the risk in advance.
• Implement business modeling and develop wireframes for applications/products using different tools.
• Perform gap analysis to compare the existing system with the proposed system and document new requirements, suggestions, and features.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and undertake the functionality testing of the new system.
• Write easy-to-understand user manuals, SRS, SOW, Analysis document, Gap analysis, and Change list.
• Coordinates internal, cross-functional technical reviews and updates documentation as Appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience as a business analyst with excellent knowledge of agile development methodology.
• Good with written and verbal English, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have strong software learning and documenting skills, and drive assigned projects with ownership.
• Knowledge or experience with client interaction and the requirements gathering process.
• Must have good knowledge of wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or any other.
• Ability to work independently or in a cross-functional team.
• Familiarity with AzureDevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and SVN is an added advantage.
