As the Branch Manager of our study abroad firm, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, managing a team of counselors and administrative staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to students aspiring to study overseas. You will play a pivotal role in driving student enrollment, maintaining relationships with international partner institutions, and achieving branch targets in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational & Team Management
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of education counselors, admissions officers, and support staff.
Ensure smooth daily operations, including student counseling, application processing, and visa support.
Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure student satisfaction.
Monitor and improve operational processes for better efficiency and performance.
2. Business Development & Target Achievement
Drive student enrollments and meet monthly/quarterly targets for admissions and revenue.
Develop local marketing strategies in coordination with the head office.
Identify and implement outreach initiatives (seminars, school visits, webinars, etc.) to generate leads.
3. Student Counseling Oversight
Oversee the counseling process to ensure accurate and ethical guidance is provided to students.
Ensure counselors are well-informed about country-specific study options, university partnerships, admission processes, and visa requirements.
Handle escalated student queries or concerns professionally.
4. Partner Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions abroad.
Represent the firm in institutional meetings, webinars, and training sessions.
Ensure timely updates of admission criteria, deadlines, and scholarships from partner institutions.
5. Reporting & Compliance
Maintain and submit regular reports on student applications, conversions, revenue, and team performance.
Ensure the branch adheres to all company policies, data privacy laws, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the education consultancy or overseas education industry, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of study destinations (Canada, USA, UK, Australia, Europe, etc.) and admission/visa procedures.
Experience in team leadership, business development, and client relationship management.
